The first wing is finally done! I don't have any paint left for completing the second one. Good organisation from my side. But to be fair, there is still paint left, I just don't have converter (hardener) left.
Base Coat and Broadcasting the sand
After applying the base coat on the 320 grit presanded surface, I broadcasted the SoftSand on there, let it dry and removed the excess sand. This is what it looks like now:

As you can see, the sand follows a very even pattern. No empty or over saturated spots. I am absolutely happy with the way this looks so far.

After two Seal coats

The pattern is a beatiful, even and a lot rougher but less painfull than the one done by ovington originally.

After adding grip tape and the other parts the wings basically looks like a new wing from factory.

We added the glossy surface behind the standoffs at the trimlines to make easing the trim lines easier for Tim. Just a little bonus. The new standoffs also look like the factory ones and fit perfectly.
Lets see how they perform...
